Geography
Pupils study their area by using CR Viewer* software to view digital images of Sandwell, drawing maps to show the route to Brickhouse Haven. An investigation to find the impact Brickhouse Haven will have.
Journey Sticks have been made.

Curriculum Activities Included:
Use CR Viewer to locate the Brickhouse Estate (1a, 2c, 2d, 2f)
Draw maps to and from the Brickhouse Haven (1b, 2e)
Make a Journey Sticks to and from Brickhouse Haven (1a, 2b, 2e)
To investigate the impact Brickhouse Haven will have (1a - e, 3a - e, 5 a - b, 6e)

*CR Viewer software and digital satellite photographs of the borough are available with a full network licence free to all schools in Sandwell. Colour prints can also be supplied.
Schools mapping software ‘Mapmaker Student’ has been supplied with a single user licence this enables schools to produce their own OS maps.
